If you're reading this then you are probably recently engaged and are in the early stages of planning your wedding. CONGRATULATIONS to you both- it's a massive life step, and will quite likely consume much of your time over the coming months, but the end result is utterly worthwhile.

First of all your wedding is just that – YOURS. While I plan all the photographic elements of the day, first and foremost I will work to your brief. There is no such thing as a one size fits all for wedding photography, so I will always fit the photographs around how you want the day to unfold. Even with the most organised wedding, the unexpected can happen and the Big Day doesn’t always go exactly to plan, but I’m flexible and can react on the fly to fit things in as need be.

Booking your wedding photographer can be a daunting process. You spend months planning the wedding to the last detail, and we only get one chance to capture the magic of your wedding day, the laughter, the smiles, those passing moments and the little things that all come together to make it greater than the sum of its parts. I'm very mindful of this and feel privileged to be part of an incredibly emotional and exciting day for the bride and groom. You are putting your trust in me, and it is my responsibility to live up to and exceed your expectations throughout the day.

Trust has to be earned, so before making the final decision. I always recommend a free, no-obligation informal pre-wedding chat with the bride and groom to be - this gives us the chance to talk the day through in detail and discuss your hopes and expectations for your wedding and the style of photography you are after. If you decide to book me as your wedding photographer, I offer a complimentary Engagement Photo Shoot to all wedding clients. See HERE for full details.

I offer a full day wedding photography service from bridal preparations through to first dance, but can do later if required. My role is to document your wedding in an informal, creative and unobtrusive manner, allowing you to spend as much time as possible enjoying your special day. Having been there myself, I can attest that it flies by, so the last thing you want is your photographer encroaching on valuable family/friends time. Taking you both away for 20-30 minutes suffices for intimate couple photographs and also gives you a little breather away from your guests and a little "together" time as husband and wife.

With a clear shooting plan for the day, I work to a time-frame to maximise my efficiency for bride & groom shots and any formal group shots required. Posing for endless group shots gets tiring for everyone quickly, so we will have discussed and agreed these in advance and I will arrange them accordingly. With a willing Best Man/Ushers to assist, these can be dealt with in a timely manner, leaving everyone free to socialise and enjoy themselves.

After that, I blend into the background to let events unfold around me and capture them accordingly. While the focus will be on the bride and groom, I aim to mingle with the guests and incorporate them into the photographs of the day to truly record as much of the atmosphere and fun of the day as possible. Spontaneous moments, smiles and those bits of the day that perhaps passed you by in a blur - that's why I'm there to help you remember one of the happiest days of your life.

Following the wedding, images are edited down, digitally perfected and provided for you on a bespoke luxury disk. Your images are also uploaded to a secure password protected website for remote family access, viewing and print ordering if required. Want to share any images with friends & family on Facebook?
